Starting
from 30th May 2002 the gas cylinders to be used in the European Union,
like all the other parts of pressure equipments, must comply with the
prescriptions of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. Those prescriptions apply also to the cylinders for refilling stations.

All information available about PED 97/23/EC can be retrieved at the Pressure Equipment web site of the European Commission http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/pressure_equipment/ped/index_en.html ECE Regulation N° 110 is becoming mandatory in most of the European Countries for the components of motor vehicles using CNG in their propulsion system.
