For more
than fifteen years Faber has been developing ultra-light fibre-reinforced
cylinders for Natural Gas Vehicles.
Those cylinders are approved worldwide by all major safety Bodies
and Authorities. Many well known vehicle manufacturers incorporate
and install them as standard components under OEM agreements.
The steel liner of Type 2 Faber Composite Cylinders is by itself
capable of withstanding a pressure which exceeds the actual filling
pressure of the cylinder. This protects against the danger of
bursting even in case of the total tearing of the fibre wrapping.
All the tests required by the strictest regulations have confirmed
the total reliability of Faber composite cylinder.
Faber Type 2 Composite Cylinders are now available with E-glass
Fibre Hoop Wrapping or with Carbon Fibre Hoop Wrapping.
Type 3 Composite Cylinders are also available from Faber.

Faber supplies its CNG cylinders with a wide range of neck threads
and mounted valves upon request.
Browse our NGV Composite Cylinders
Catalogue and find the FRP cylinder you need. For additional
technical information logon at Faber's
Database & Drawings.
If you are interested in Faber's Steel Cylinders please go to
NGV Steel Cylinders.
Unfortunately we are not able to supply directly to the final
user. The manufacturing of composite cylinders requires large
production lots and therefore we are not able to quote for less
than 100 pieces of same size cylinders.

Some important advice: prices for CNG cylinders can vary significantly
depending on the cylinder. Composite cylinders are more expensive
than steel cylinders and therefore they are mainly installed
in OEM vehicles.
Faber CNG Composite Cylinders are designed in order to reduce
the weight of the vehicle as much as possible at a cost acceptable
to vehicles manufacturers.
